Here are your B.S. Best Bets for the week of November 6th, 2017.
Dino Wine Dinner
Join Dino’s Grotto Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a Villa di Geggiano wine dinner. Villa di Geggiano is a Chianti producer with a long history using organic farming and minimal impact farming techniques. Their grapes are hand harvested into small containers to allow for both quality selection and higher quality fruit for fermentation. These wines are delicious with food, which Dino’s will highlight during this special meal. The evening will start with Prosecco Sommariva and finger foods as you arrive. Following, you’ll be treated to a gourmet Tuscan-inspired four-course meal with wine pairings. Accommodations can be made for vegetarian, pork-free or gluten-free diners. Tickets are $79.
Big Green Egg Fest
Twins Ace Hardware in Clarendon is hosting a Big Green Egg Fest on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The in-store event will feature grill discounts, cooking demos, tasty treats, kids activities and more. Attendees will get to meet celebrity chef David Guas of Bayou Bakery. Chef Guas will be signing copies of his new cookbook for attendees and cooking up dishes from his new cookbook. Try flank or skirt steak with coal roasted garlic butter and grilled smoked bologna with grilled yellow mustard slaw and charred okra.
Crafty Bastards Arts & Crafts Fair
