Hello from Oklahoma City! We’ve had the best time on our road trip so far. It started with a brief stay in Asheville, where we packed in as many adventures as we could. After that it was onto Nashville for four days, just enough time to completely fall in love with the city. We got to Oklahoma on Wednesday of last week and will be here until Thursday catching up with family and friends before making the journey back. It’s been nice to move at a slow pace and really have time to do everything we want to do. I could get used to this nomadic lifestyle!

Fundraiser for Fabian Malone at Dino’s Grotto
Many of you have probably enjoyed one of Fabian Malone’s fabulous cocktails over the years (I know we have). Sadly, Fabian was shot in the arm during an attempted robbery. Dino’s Grotto is stepping in to help tonight, Tuesday, October 10th by hosting a fundraiser from 5 p.m. ’til close. They will donate 33% of all liquor, beer and wine sales both upstairs and in the Grotto Bar. From 5 to 7 p.m. in the Grotto Bar, during Happy Hour, Dino’s suggests paying full price and they will donate the difference in addition. Tuesday is half price burger night and again, they will donate the difference if you pay full price. Eat and drink well while helping out one of our own!
